Numbness / Pins & Needles

Numbness or pins & needles are neurological symptoms. This means there is some inhibition of normal nerve flow between the site of your symptoms and your brain. Numb hands typically result from interference by the spine as the nerves leave the neck, or by tight muscles in the shoulder or forearm, all of which can be treated. Numb feet typically result from the sciatic nerve being affected by the spine at the low back or muscles in the back of your legs. Spinal adjustments combined with muscle work and home stretches are typical treatment.
